Endoscopic Brow Lift Plastic Surgery (Browlift) Plastic Surgery

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, David P. Rapaport, MD, is one of Manhattan, New York's leading plastic surgeons and commonly performs the endoscopic brow lift plastic surgery procedure. A brow lift, also called a forehead lift or eyebrow lift, corrects the skin wrinkling and loss of tone that causes sagging of eyebrows and hooding of upper eyelids. A brow lift softens the deep creases across your forehead. It reduces horizontal frown lines at the top of your nose and vertical lines between your brows. The result is a more relaxed and refreshed appearance. An endoscopic brow lift is the only plastic surgery procedure that can increase the distance from the lateral brow to the upper eyelashes.

An endoscopic brow lift or minimal incision forehead lift or brow lift  has become a popular procedure in the past few years. With this procedure, the positioning of the eyebrows can be equalized and what appears to be a tired, sad, or angry look can be dramatically softened. This procedure is usually combined with division of the glabellar muscles, which are the muscles that cause the scowl or frown lines. The results of the combination of these procedures are a more aesthetically pleasing brow and a more youthful appearance. The endoscopic technique allows the procedure to be performed in a minimally invasive manner.

Where will my brow lift surgery be performed? Your endoscopic brow lift surgery will be performed in Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, David P. Rapaport's Manhattan, New York out-patient surgical facility.

When will I be able to see the results? The results are immediate though it will take 10-14 days for most swelling and bruising to resolve.

How much time will I need to take off from work after an endoscopic brow lift?  Most patients find that they can return to work within a week after an endoscopic brow lift, sometimes sooner.

When can I exercise after an endoscopic brow lift? Strenuous or vigorous exercise will need to be avoided for several weeks after an endoscopic brow lift.

What should I expect after my brow lift surgery? Expect to be swollen, tender and possibly bruised - this is very common.

Is it possible to get financing for my endoscopic brow lift? Yes. Financing is available for most plastic surgery procedures. The Board Certified Plastic Surgeon's Manhattan, New York staff would be delighted to discuss financing with you.

When will the stitches be removed?
The sutures and/or staples will be removed in a week to 10 days at Doctor Rapaport's NYC office.
